Job Title: Galileo Mission Segment Engineer

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our Galileo Mission Segment (GMS) team. As a Galileo Mission Segment Engineer, you will provide remote support to our team in Italy, Germany, and France, with occasional trips to these sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and resolve anomalies in Galileo systems
  • Support operator/L1 and L3 teams for anomaly management and resolution
  • Investigate complex systems and create workarounds or solutions to recover nominal operations
  • Support L2 maintenance teams for front and back office activities
  • Define test documentation and support AIV tasks for Galileo GMS and GSC
  • Provide input for configuration management activities and maintenance-related milestones
Requirements:
  • Advanced level of English
  • Analytical ability to investigate anomalies
  • Ability to follow procedures and find alternative solutions
  • Knowledge of GNSS, Linux, Python, and IT systems
