Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineering Supervisor is a key member of the Engineering and Maintenance Department at Jnj Oleochemicals Inc., responsible for leading and supervising a team of technicians in the execution of mechanical maintenance, repair, and project activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of technicians in mechanical maintenance, repair, and project activities
  • Monitor and manage utilities related to mechanical systems, including compressed air, cooling water, and steam systems
  • Ensure strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and repair
  • Develop and implement safety and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical maintenance or supervisory role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and repair
  • Experience with utilities management, particularly compressed air, cooling water, and steam systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant engineering software
