About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our global IT services company, you will play a crucial role in designing, installing, developing, configuring, and maintaining the OpenShift Container platform and development services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement OpenShift landscapes for our customers
  • Develop and manage operational tasks within a global team, focusing on automation, reliability, maintainability, security, and customer satisfaction
  • Utilize CI/CD frameworks to rapidly support lifecycle management of the platform
  • Provide L2-L3 support for incidents, problems, and service requests
  • Collaborate with various teams, including third-party vendors, to resolve incidents and implement changes
  • Implement and drive automation and self-healing solutions to reduce toil
  • Reduce error budgets to address reliability issues and/or risks
  • Produce and maintain internal designs and user documentation
  • Support ITSM processes
Requirements
  • Azure Associate certification or equivalent knowledge level
  • OpenShift or K8's certification
  • At least 3+ years of professional experience for mid-level, 5+ years for seniors
  • Experience with HELM or Kustomize is mandatory
  • Experience with at least one of the following: Ansible, GoLang, or Terraform
  • Security-minded in all activities
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and toolset (i.e., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Ability to adapt to a varied, fast-paced environment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues
  • Eager to learn and adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Understanding of Agile development, SCRUM, or SRE concepts is a plus
  • Willing to run standby duty
  • Able to function autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team spirit
  • High level of English and Spanish is a must
Work Arrangements
  • Remote work from Spain (full-time & permanent contract)
Compensation and Benefits
  • Up to 65,000 euros gross per year (fixed salary + 10% variable)
  • 23 days of vacation
  • 3 months probationary period
  • Intensive schedule in August (from 8h00 to 15h00)
