About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Translation Project Manager to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing translation and localization projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer translation enquiries and prepare quotes for translation and localization projects
- Advise clients on translation and localization best practices
- Compile and manage a team of translators, monitor project progress, and ensure quality standards and deadlines are met
- Perform post-production quality assurance checks, translation memory, and terminology maintenance
- Collaborate closely with our Customer Relations Management team to ensure customer specifications are met
Requirements:
- Fluent German and excellent English language skills
- At least 2 years of experience as a translation project manager
- Experience in the translation industry, including translation and localization services, editing, and CAT tools
- Degree in translation studies, linguistics, business, or IT/media design
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAT tools
