Job Summary
Jobitus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Blockchain Researcher to join our team. As an Assistant Professor of Distributed Systems, you will be responsible for conducting research in the field of blockchain technology, including supervision of PhD candidates, collaboration with academic partners and industry, acquiring external research funding, and managing externally funded research projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in blockchain technology, including (co-)supervision of PhD candidates and collaboration with academic partners and industry.
- Acquire external research funding and manage externally funded research projects.
- Assist the professor in creating content and demonstrate a proven track record of research excellence.
- Possess a team player mentality and strong communication and social skills.
- Have a background in economics and hold deep knowledge about cryptocurrencies.
- Have knowledge of blockchain technology and act as a content creator.
- Collaborate with crypto education companies and conduct market research/analysis.
- Work as a technical analyst and serve as a subject matter expert.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Deep knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
- Proven track record of research excellence and ability to acquire external research funding.
- Strong communication and social skills and ability to work in a team.
- Experience in teaching at the university level and knowledge of blockchain technology.
