Job Title: EMEA Commissioning Lead

Microsoft's Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) organization is the driving force behind our cloud services. Our data center construction team is dedicated to delivering top-notch data centers for our cloud services. As we continue to revolutionize the way construction projects are planned, managed, and executed, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join our diverse and inclusive team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the high standard and reliability of our product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work cross-functionally with other EOT team members to provide oversight on the consistent implementation of the project SLA and functional governance.
  • Perform project health analysis against the approved SLAs/scope/execution plan/cost/schedule.
  • Assist with the project setup, evaluate the site resource effectiveness, conduct spot audits, and assist with onboarding and training of the site-based team.
  • Develop and maintain best practices to identify and incorporate quality and cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop commissioning reports to best understand and communicate project status.
  • Develop financial reports to best understand and communicate project status.
Requirements:
  • Construction QA/QC
  • Project Management
  • Data Center Commissioning
  • Data Center Operation and Maintenance
  • Understanding of UPS systems, switchgear, generators, and critical mechanical systems
  • Able to develop and write detailed Commissioning Scripts
  • Issue identification and resolution management
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Visio, MS Project, MS Teams
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Commissioning Certification
  • OSHA 30 or equivalent qualification
  • NFPA-70E
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
