About this Opportunity

We are seeking a talented software developer to join our team in the area of 5G Core Network. As a Junior Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing new functionalities related to 5G mobile data processing, particularly in the programming of open-platform, real-time, and high-availability systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop software features for 5G User Plane, participating in the full life-span of the software feature, from early phases to final deployment on live network.
  • Collaborate with a multi-functional team to design, develop, and test software solutions.
  • Investigate and debug complex issues, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and core dump analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field of 5G Core Network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Python, and shell/bash on UNIX/Linux.
  • Experience with cloud-native software stacks and execution environments, including containers (e.g., Docker).
  • Good written and spoken English, with confidence working in international environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of operating system architectures and ability to model scalable designs and solutions.
  • Experience with TCP/IP Networking, evolution transport protocols (e.g., QUIC), data networks, and IP-based applications (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS).
  • Knowledge of Linux and network administration.
  • Experience with configuration of network equipment.
  • Knowledge of Mobile Network Architecture 4G/5G, interfaces, protocols, and functions.
