About this Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Junior Software Developer to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our 5G Core Network development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-availability software systems for real-time data processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software features for 5G User Plane, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Participate in the full life-cycle of software development, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
  • Work with cloud native software stacks, containers, and execution environments to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with international teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Investigate and debug complex issues, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and core dump analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Python, and shell/bash.
  • Experience with cloud native software stacks, containers, and execution environments.
  • Good written and spoken English, with confidence working in international environments.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of operating system architectures and scalable design principles.
  • Experience with TCP/IP Networking, transport protocols, and data networks.
  • Linux user and network administrator skills.
  • Configuration of network equipment.
  • Mobile network architecture knowledge, including 4G/5G interfaces, protocols, and functions.
