Job Title: Assistant Researcher - Aquaculture Sustainability Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Researcher to join our team at Universidad De Alicante. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with our research group on a funded project focused on sustainable aquaculture management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sampling campaigns on the coast of Alicante and Murcia
  • Separate and identify benthic fauna
  • Quantify exploitable biomass of marine invertebrates
  • Analyze data and report results
  • Write articles and disseminate results in scientific events

Requirements:

  • Hold or be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree in Marine Science, Biology, or a related field
  • Be a Spanish national or meet the requirements for public employment
  • Not have been dismissed by disciplinary proceedings or disqualified for public employment
