Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Packaging Engineer to join our team at Peli. As a Senior Packaging Engineer, you will be responsible for developing customized engineering solutions for our customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop customized packaging solutions for a variety of products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specification lists and bills of materials.
  • Estimate material and production costs and prepare quotes for customers.
  • Work with customers to understand their specific requirements and develop optimal engineering solutions.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, design, etc.) with minimum 1-year experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English is required. Any other European language would be a benefit.
  • Advanced knowledge of 3D CAD software (Solidedge preferred), as well as general computer knowledge (MS Office, etc.). Knowledge of SAP a benefit.
  • Good knowledge of different materials, engineering processes and manufacturing techniques. Ability to quickly learn the technical aspects of Peli-Hardigg products.
  • Experience in costing and in the preparation and revision of quotes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (oral and written). This position requires the ability to provide excellent technical customer service and build positive customer relationships.
