Role Overview

The Warehouse/Logistics Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the operations team by performing various administrative and logistical tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to coordinate and execute warehouse and logistics activities efficiently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inventory management, stock control, inbound goods storage, order handling, outbound goods transport planning and scheduling, systems administration, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and compliance with regulations.

A key aspect of this role is troubleshooting and resolving issues related to logistics processes, tools, and systems. The ability to analyze and evaluate these processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to achieve optimization and alignment is crucial.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

The Warehouse/Logistics Assistant will be responsible for delivering the following results:

  • Ensuring inventory levels are accurately tracked and managed
  • Coordinating the intake of incoming materials/equipment and ensuring proper storage and organization
  • Processing orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely delivery to customers
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve logistics processes, tools, and systems
  • Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with customers
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
