About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Fleet Remediation Team, responsible for delivering engineering design support to operational AWS data centers. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, availability, and resilience of our data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design projects for data center upgrades and remediation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions that improve data center infrastructure, capacity, availability, and sustainability.
  • Provide lifecycle support from design through implementation, including construction, commissioning, and turnover.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including operations, commissioning, construction, and design teams.
  • Mentor and oversee the work of junior engineers in your discipline.
About the Team

The Fleet Remediation Team is a multidisciplinary engineering team that delivers engineering design support to operational AWS data centers. We are a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ cumulative years of design experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities, including data centers, power generation, oil/gas facilities.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years data center design experience.
