Job Title: Senior Clinical Research Associate I

Fortrea is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Research Associate I to join our team. As a Senior Clinical Research Associate I, you will be responsible for site monitoring and site management, ensuring the integrity of clinical studies and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site monitoring and site management activities, including routine monitoring and closeout of clinical sites, maintenance of study files, and conduct of pre-study and initiation visits.
  • Liaise with vendors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of clinical studies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and efficient execution of clinical studies.
  • Provide training and mentoring to junior staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements:
  • University or college degree in a life science or related field, or certification in a related allied health profession.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical monitoring experience, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and clinical trial management.
  • Advanced site monitoring and study site management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 60-80% overnight.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional experience in a related field, such as medical, clinical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, research, data analysis, data management, or technical writing.
  • Local project coordination and/or project management experience.
