We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team as a Junior Group Leader in Quantitative Cell Biology at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona, Spain.

About the Position

The successful candidate will lead a research group focused on understanding the mechanisms of cell organisation and function using multidisciplinary approaches. The group will aim to bridge scales from molecules to organelles, cells, tissues, or organisms.

Research Focus

We welcome applications in areas that synergise with current research in the programme, or broaden its scope into new areas, such as evolutionary cell biology or structural cell biology.

About the CRG

The CRG is a core-funded interdisciplinary institute with strengths encompassing genomics, systems, computational, cell, and molecular biology. We are located at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB) with six other research institutes, including the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL).

What We Offer

We offer a Junior Group Leader position with a 5-year contract renewable for a total of 9 years, subject to successful external peer review, and structural funding to cover salaries and consumables for up to three people depending on their qualifications.
