We are looking for a highly experienced Financial Operations Director to lead our financial reporting team at Glovo's Global HQ in Barcelona. As the primary point of contact for external and internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial information is communicated.
The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in a similar role and a deep understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards. They must be able to effectively communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders, including the management team, investors, and external auditors.
In this position, you will oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements. You will also ensure compliance with local statutory audit and reporting requirements, as well as implement quality controls over financial transactions and reporting processes.
As the bridge between local finance teams and HQ, you will provide insights on financial performance and drive business decisions. You will lead the local accounting and reporting teams in Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Andorra, setting and reviewing team goals and targets to achieve operational results.
A competitive salary package, estimated around €110,000 - €130,000 per year, will be offered to attract top talent in the field.
