About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Automation Specialist to join our team at Dow Chemical Iberica S.L. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in process control, automation, and instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level support for process automation systems, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems with other plant processes.
  • Develop and implement process control strategies to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
  • Participate in risk assessments and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Train and mentor plant personnel on process automation systems and best practices.
Requirements
  • Short-Cycle Tertiary Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, IT, Networking, or related field, plus process control, manufacturing, or other related experience.
  • Advanced skills and expertise in process automation, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
