Job Title: Debt Financing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Debt Financing Specialist to join our team at Nextenergy Capital Group. As a key member of our Loan Management team, you will play a critical role in assisting clients with financing and refinancing processes, coordinating with lenders and internal teams, and ensuring compliance with loan facility agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in preparing and reviewing teaser and information memoranda, as well as reviewing transaction summaries and bank financial models.
  • Coordinate with lenders' advisors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate loan facility periodic reporting and covenant compliance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for debt-related matters, both internally and externally.
  • Interpret complex financing documents, including facility agreements, security documents, and accounts agreements, and advise on requirements and restrictions.
  • Update bank financial models and calculate financial ratios for covenant compliance.
  • Prepare waiver and consent requests, as well as event-driven lender communications.
  • Coordinate with internal providers of inputs to consolidate information on asset performance for timely lender reporting.
  • Participate in periodic meetings and provide status updates on debt-related matters.
  • Manage relationships with lenders, legal advisors, and external clients.
  • Provide support to Investment teams on analysis of debt facilities and ad-hoc requirements.
Requirements:
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to organize thoughts clearly and compellingly.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, with significant experience in managing and updating bank models.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to review and understand project finance and other forms of debt facility agreements.
