Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our Identity and Access Management team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Ownership: You will be responsible for the end-to-end performance and operability of the services you own.
  • Service Design: You will partner with development teams to define and implement improvements in service architecture.
  • Operations Engineering: You will understand and communicate the scale, capacity, security, and performance attributes of the services you own.
  • Automation: You will have a clear understanding of automation and orchestration principles and will be eager to automate wherever possible.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in server hardware configuration, Linux internals, networking, and TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, configuration management tools, monitoring and instrumentation, and DevOps toolchain.
  • Experience with cloud computing patterns, IT security and compliance, and running large-scale customer-facing web services.
