About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our Dependency Management team at Datadog. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and owning one of our key components end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient software solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Write high-quality, well-documented code and lead architectural decisions for new and existing services.
  • Run a lightweight agile process to pace and track what we work on and deliver high-quality work.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience working on backend engineering, preferably using Java, Python, or Go.
  • Proven ability to own and deliver features in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Experience with working on developer tooling and developer experience projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and code ownership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Go-Lang.
  • Experience with artifactory, testing frameworks, and package managers like Pip, Npm, Cargo, etc.
  • Experience with Github APIs.
  • Experience with Vulnerability management.
  • Experience with Software Inventory Management.
