We're seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team at Swift Software, a leading provider of secure financial messaging services. As a developer/junior solution architect, you will be part of a diverse team of experts using new technologies and incorporating agile software development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in building and/or evolving software components of medium to high complexity, from end to end.
- Contribute to delivering the highest quality software, with a strong emphasis on quality, security, availability, resiliency, scalability, performance, and system resources consumption.
- Collaborate with other team members, including Product Owners, Testers, and developers across regions, to achieve team objectives.
- Develop yourself and others in a true BizDevOps agile environment, engaging in product evolution, software architecture, development, quality assurance, security, operations, and IT infrastructure aspects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related subject area.
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience in software development.
- Web application technology (JSON, HTTP APIs,...).
- Spring boot or similar Java frameworks.
- Object Oriented programming techniques and related design patterns.
- Automated testing technologies (JUnit, Mockito,...).
- Software development tools (git, IntelliJ, Jira, Jenkins, Maven).
- Focused on quality, with a drive to deliver production-ready software.
- Agile approach, with a willingness to learn and continuously improve the way we work.
- Appetite for the business, with a passion for using technology to build solutions that help customers.
- Team-oriented, with a pride in team achievements and a willingness to support and be supported by teammates.
- Able to plan and coordinate.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
