Database Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Specialist to join our team at Bestseller. As a key player in our IT infrastructure, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
Key Responsibilities- Support and maintain existing database operations, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop and implement database deployments for application teams, adhering to secure and optimal performance standards.
- Plan and execute lifecycle management activities to ensure database systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Ensure database assets are secured and compliant with security policies through regular updates and patches.
- Contribute to the continuous development of our ways of working and technology, challenging the status quo and driving innovation.
- Experience in building and maintaining code for MS SQL and/or PostgreSQL, with a willingness to expand knowledge in the field.
- Strong knowledge of scripting, preferably in PowerShell.
- Either a degree in computer science, engineering, or similar, or self-taught expertise in infrastructure.
