**The Role**

We're looking for a highly skilled Backend Services Architect to lead the design and development of our company-wide distributed, scalable, and highly loaded system. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and security of our backend services and databases.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend architectures
  • Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies, frameworks, and backend tools
  • Analyze, finalize, and approve specifications and technical requirements for the development of specific team services
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate backend systems with frontend components, databases, third-party services, and APIs
  • Design systems that can withstand high loads, provide scalability, and optimal performance
  • Identify and resolve internal systems performance bottlenecks through profiling, optimization, and tuning
  • Develop standards and implement best practices and recommendations to maintain high quality and readability of code
  • Maintain technical documentation for internal systems, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, storage system descriptions, and deployment procedures

**Requirements**

  • Strong background in software engineering and architecture
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and distributed systems
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and TypeScript
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
