About the Role

We are seeking an Investment Operations Trainee to join our team at Zurich 56 Company Ltd in Barcelona. As an Investment Operations Trainee, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the accurate and timely processing, posting, and clearing of securities transactions and income payments.
  • Performing month-end closing activities, including net asset value (NAV) calculations for Unit Linked business and non-Unit Linked portfolios.
  • Conducting periodic reconciliations of securities holdings and cash account holdings.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting is preferred.
  • Fundamental knowledge of common asset classes, risks, and markets.
  • CFA or similar certification is highly valued.
  • Strong technical skills in FSCM/FAM/TRM-SAP Treasury/Financial.
  • Excellent client focus, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • A willingness to learn and share knowledge across the team.
  • A commitment to your job and a shareholder-value oriented mindset.
