About the Role

The credit department at Revolut is a dynamic team that designs, develops, and launches credit products globally. As a key player in this team, you will be responsible for driving the launch of the Commercial Real Estate Lending (CRE Lending) business within Revolut. This role requires an experienced banker or private debt investor with a proven track record in cross-border CRE lending, who is eager to lead a team and establish the unit from scratch.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Establish the vision and strategy for the CRE Lending business, including market focus, sales approach, and competitive differentiation.
  2. Build and lead a high-performing CRE Lending team, responsible for developing and executing the business strategy.
  3. Design and implement processes, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure the successful operation of the CRE Lending business.
  4. Develop and maintain reliable partnerships with third-party providers to support the growth of the CRE Lending business.
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a zero-tolerance approach to any compliance issues.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in CRE lending, preferably in a bank or private debt fund.
  • Deep knowledge of the EU and UK mid-sized CRE lending industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • A detail-oriented, analytical mindset with the ability to lead a team and build partnerships with other functions.
  • A passion for building new processes and challenging the status quo.
