About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our embedded software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our IoT products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed validation plans tailored to specific hardware and firmware designs.
  • Design and implement automated tests using Python to deliver high-quality code.
  • Analyze and interpret validation data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development.
  • Communicate technical expertise and lead by example to drive quality and innovation.
About the Team

Our team is responsible for developing the Ring Doorbell product, a cutting-edge IoT device that requires a high level of quality and reliability. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that is passionate about building innovative products.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in test automation using Python.
  • 5+ years of software validation engineering experience in embedded software/firmware.
  • Proven experience as QA lead on medium to large-sized projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with automated test frameworks like Selenium or Appium.
  • Ability to gather test requirements and create detailed test plans.
