Key Responsibilities:
As an Accommodation Market Specialist, you will:
- Report to the Area Manager and focus on ensuring that our customers discover the ideal hotel for their dream vacations in key destinations.
- Utilize your networking skills within the hotel sector to provide exceptional service and maintain a competitive, attractive lodging portfolio aligned with our strategic goals.
- Enhance partner availability and supply to meet the demands of visitors on our various platforms, while supporting our revenue objectives.
- Achieve KPIs for your designated markets.
- Establish and nurture professional relationships with key personnel in your assigned accounts, delivering superior consulting services and seizing marketing opportunities.
- Optimize account performance in your designated destinations, enhancing content, rates, and availability to maximize customer conversion.
- Secure additional inventory during peak demand periods to meet customer needs.
- Facilitate promotional offers to bolster our brands' marketing efforts.
- Educate hotel partners on self-service features available on our Extranet, ensuring effective communication through various channels.
- Develop actionable recommendations based on data analysis to enhance key establishments' performance in the marketplace.
- Provide ongoing insights to the Area Manager for developing scalable solutions that improve process efficiencies.
- Contribute to the technological advancement of the company by proposing new implementations and testing innovative tools.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience in a commercial or customer-focused role.
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating teamwork, empathy, and relationship-building capabilities.
- A results-oriented mindset, with a keen focus on metrics and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in time management and organizational skills.
- Experience in yield and revenue management, along with strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- IT proficiency, including knowledge of Channel Managers and CRM tools, with Salesforce experience being a plus.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications.
