We are seeking a highly skilled Swiss German Linguist to join our team as a Part-Time Localization Expert. As a key member of our localization team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients, customers, and coworkers have a Swiss-native experience across all our platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Localization Pipeline Management: Collaborate with country-level stakeholders to build and manage the localization pipeline, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
- Project Management: Manage localization and translation projects end-to-end, setting stakeholder expectations and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
- Vendor Management: Support the onboarding of global recommended localization vendors, review their performance, and work with them to ensure continuous development and timely delivery of projects.
- Linguistic Expertise: Provide linguistic expertise to create web, sales, communication, and social media content that is appealing to customers, while driving consistency with global content.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct linguistic quality assurance and consult with subject matter experts when necessary.
- Training and Development: Consolidate and provide linguistic feedback to translators/translation vendors to educate them on clients' tone of voice and mediate in cases of conflict on quality discussions.
- Experience: 2 years of project management experience, including budget management, workflow optimization, and stakeholder management.
- Localization Experience: 3 years of hands-on localization experience working on online translation software.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Computer Assisted Translation tools and Translation management systems.
- Linguistic Expertise: Proven advanced training in the linguistic field, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
