Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be tasked with:
- Providing insights on complex systems analysis, design, integration, and implementation while assessing business and client needs to pinpoint areas for efficiency improvements.
- Coordinating the deployment of integrated and sustainable ICT solutions that are crucial to complex systems.
- Assisting in the design and execution of integration workflows and enhancements, including APIs and file-based integrations, while creating technical reference documentation.
- Collaborating with development and design teams to oversee the creation of integration solutions and prototypes.
- Managing requirements gathering, feasibility studies, architecture, development planning, and risk management.
- Conducting and automating various tests, including unit, integration, load, and performance tests, while facilitating the setup of test data.
- Contributing to the development of project plans, schedules, and performance metrics, while preparing and managing technical documentation related to integrations.
- Proactively reviewing integration performance, troubleshooting issues, and communicating findings to relevant teams and stakeholders.
- Utilizing feedback from users and stakeholders to guide the development of new products and enhancements.
- Participating in the selection of integration vendors and tools to meet business needs.
- Fostering a collaborative team environment and working closely with colleagues to achieve objectives.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior integration engineers.
- Executing additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, mathematics, economics, statistics, or a related field, accompanied by five years of relevant professional experience.
- A diploma or completed high school degree with seven years of relevant professional experience.
Experience:
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of critical ICT systems.
- Experience in delivering software using the SCRUM framework.
- Proven experience in data integration and workflow scripting.
- Familiarity with system integration technologies, including RESTful APIs, OAUTH 2.0, event brokers, and data virtualization.
- Experience with integration platforms such as Azure Services, Power Platform, MuleSoft, and Boomi.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and familiarity with industry-standard technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience in writing unit tests and knowledge of integration design and development processes.
- Experience with distributed systems communicating via APIs or Message Queues.
- Proficiency in data modeling, manipulation, and distribution between applications.
- Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages including Java, C#, SQL, MS Dynamics 365, MS Power Platform, and Azure Integration platform.
