About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled System Architect to join our team. As a System Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Specifying the solution architecture based on existing and new components from product requirements
- Specifying the architecture of product components
- Conducting research, design, prototyping, and other exploration activities
- Evaluating new cloud technologies to determine suitability for inclusion in the solution architecture
- Collaborating with embedded software/hardware team to build comprehensive solutions
- Ensuring general architecture decisions are followed and solutions are in alignment with the overall corporate strategy, strategic drivers, and industry best practices
- Gathering and defining Non-Functional requirements such as Performance, Security & Compliance, Recoverability, Maintainability, Reliability, Availability, Scalability, Usability and accessibility, Extensibility and reusability, and Interoperability
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of professional experience in SW & solution architecture/development
- Strong working knowledge of cloud PaaS architecture: preferably AWS and SaaS implementations
- Experience as a Software Engineer or Architect
- Experience and knowledge of web technologies, application servers, databases, and web services
- Ability to work in an international environment
- University degree in a technical field such as information technologies, electronics & electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or physics or mathematics
