Environmental Sustainability Specialist

ArcelorMittal Europe Tubular Products is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be based in one of our European locations, including Spain, France, Germany, Czech Republic, or Romania.
Main Responsibilities- Collect, monitor, analyze, and report environmental data related to our industrial operations, ensuring compliance with local, state, national, and international environmental regulations and standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of our operations.
- Participate in environmental audits and assessments, both internal and external, to evaluate environmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and community groups, on environmental matters.
- Utilize environmental monitoring and data collection technologies, software, and tools to streamline data collection and analysis processes.
Education: Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles is preferred.
Languages: Highly proficient in spoken and written English is essential, with proficiency in any other European language being an asset.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices is required.
Tools: Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools, including software for environmental monitoring, is necessary.
Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and in cross-functional multinational teams are essential.
