Environmental Sustainability Specialist

ArcelorMittal Europe Tubular Products is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be based in one of our European locations, including Spain, France, Germany, Czech Republic, or Romania.
Key Responsibilities- Environmental Data Management: Collect, monitor, analyze, and report environmental data related to our industrial operations, ensuring compliance with local, state, national, and international regulations and standards.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of our operations.
- Environmental Audits and Assessments: Participate in environmental audits and assessments, both internal and external, to evaluate environmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and community groups, on environmental matters.
- Technology and Data Analysis: Utilize environmental monitoring and data collection technologies, software, and tools to streamline data collection and analysis processes.
- Education and Experience: Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in similar roles.
- Language Skills: Highly proficient in spoken and written English; proficiency in any other European language is an asset.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices, as well as proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and in cross-functional multinational teams.
