Job Description

Job Title: Process and Instrumentation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at Nordex Group. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing instrumentation solutions for electrolyzers, working closely with our engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design instrumentation systems for electrolyzers, including signal lists and equipment data sheets
  • Interpret mechanical diagrams and PID's to inform instrumentation design
  • Collaborate with the technical team to integrate instrumentation into subsystems at various power scales
  • Dimension proportional valves and prepare requisitions for equipment and components
  • Tabulate and monitor offers for electrolysis systems and equipment
  • Prepare procedures, manuals, and reports related to instrumentation activities
  • Support control strategy development for hydrogen production equipment and research project reports

Requirements:

  • Degree in chemical, industrial, or electrical engineering
  • Knowledge of explosive atmospheres (ATEX), PLC architectures, and instrumentation software
  • High English language proficiency
  • Ability to present and communicate with foreign suppliers and clients
  • At least 5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering for equipment and/or plants
