Virtualization Systems Expert
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Virtualization Systems Expert to take part in international projects within a multinational IT firm.

This role involves implementation, administration, and optimization of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including vSphere ESXi, vCenter, DRS, Lifecycle Manager, and Host Profiles.

  • Storage management (SAN, NAS, iSCSI)
  • Orchestration, monitoring, and capacity planning
  • Backup and restore of both the virtual environment and VMs
  • Troubleshooting

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the implementation and operation of VMware systems and be eligible for EU-SECRET clearance.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation and Optimization: Implement, administer, and optimize VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) components.

Storage Management: Manage storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and iSCSI.

Orchestration and Monitoring: Plan and implement orchestration, monitoring, and capacity planning processes.

Backup and Restore: Develop and implement backup and restore procedures for the virtual environment and VMs.

Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues with VMware systems and resolve problems efficiently.

Requirements

Eligibility: The candidate must be eligible for EU-SECRET clearance.

Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in any other European language is a plus.

Availability: Availability to travel occasionally is necessary.
