Job Title: Principal Biostatistician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Biostatistician to join our team. As a key member of our biostatistics department, you will be responsible for leading complex projects, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality statistical analysis plans and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead biostatistics projects from protocol development to clinical study report (CSR) completion
  • Mentor and train junior biostatisticians on job skills and develop training plans
  • Direct the activities of other biostatisticians on assigned projects to ensure timely completion of high-quality work
  • Provide independent review of project work produced by other biostatisticians
  • Support across all statistical tasks during the lifecycle of the project, from protocol to CSR
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and collaborate with sponsors as needed
  • May be responsible as Lead Biostatistician for the statistical aspects of the protocol, generation of randomization schedule, and input to the CSR
  • Implement company objectives and create alternative solutions to address business and operational challenges
  • Interface with other departmental project team representatives and conduct verification and quality control of project deliverables
  • May lead complex or multiple projects and attend regulatory agency meetings or respond to questions as needed
  • Manage scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects and proactively communicate with biostatistics management

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within Early Phase Studies
  • Experience working on Cardiovascular within an Industry setting
  • Graduate degree in biostatistics or related discipline
  • Extensive experience in clinical trials or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in programming and ability to apply extensive knowledge of statistical design, analysis, and programming techniques
  • Experience across all statistical tasks required to support clinical trials during the lifecycle of the project, from protocol to CSR
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
