Job Title: Principal Biostatistician

Job Summary:

The Principal Biostatistician will serve as a statistical department resource, mentoring biostatisticians on job skills and overseeing training plans or materials for Biostatistics associates. This role will direct the activities of other biostatistics personnel on assigned projects, ensuring timely completion of high-quality work. The Principal Biostatistician will also provide independent review of project work produced by other biostatisticians in the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct training sessions and train new hires and enhance the skills of existing personnel.
  2. Direct the activities of other biostatistics personnel on assigned projects to ensure timely completion of high-quality work.
  3. Provide independent review of project work produced by other biostatisticians in the department.
  4. Support across all statistical tasks during the lifecycle of the project, from protocol to CSR.
  5. Prepare or oversee the preparation of Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs), including development of well-presented mock-up displays for tables, listings, and figures.
  6. Collaborate with sponsor, if required.
  7. May be responsible as Lead Biostatistician for the statistical aspects of the protocol, generation of randomization schedule, and input to the clinical study report.
  8. Create or review programming specifications for analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics and experience in leading teams. They will be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide high-quality work in a timely manner.
