Accounting and AML Compliance Manager

About the Role:

GRUPO CRIT is seeking a highly skilled Accounting and AML Compliance Manager to join our Finance Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance and Accounting department in all accounting and AML compliance processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and collaborating in the month-end group reporting process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Accounting and Reporting: Record financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with local GAAP, following company policies and procedures.
  2. Reconciliation and Analysis: Ensure the reconciliation of the general ledger and subsidiary books, and resolve reconciling items. Prepare reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and accounting entries.
  3. Support to Group Reporting: Support the Group's month-end accounting and reporting activities.
  4. Analysis and Insights: Prepare analysis and statistical information to support business decisions.
  5. AML Compliance: Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering regulations and policies.
  6. Process Improvement: Identify and implement ways to automate/streamline accounting processes and analysis.

  • Indefinite Contract: A stable and secure employment contract.
  • Competitive Salary: A salary range between 30,000 and 45,500, negotiable, with a variable remuneration based on company objectives of 6%.

  • Flexible Working Arrangements: 70% home and 30% in the office, with input flexibility.
  • Children's Schooling Aid: €320.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degree in Business or Economic Administration.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written bilingual level).
  • Financial Knowledge: Good knowledge of financial accounting principles (IFRS and local GAAP (PGC and regulations of the Bank of Spain for Financial institutions)).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to apply policies and standards consistently.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
