Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting and AML Compliance Manager to join our Finance Team at GRUPO CRIT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance and Accounting department in all accounting and AML compliance processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and collaborating in the month-end group reporting process.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Record financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with local GAAP, following company policies and procedures.
  2. Ensure the reconciliation of the general ledger and subsidiary books and the resolution of reconciling items.
  3. Prepare reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and accounting entries.
  4. Support the Group's month-end accounting and reporting activities.
  5. Prepare analysis and statistical information.
  6. Analyze the differences between local GAAP and IFRS.
  7. Support in all internal and external audit processes.
  8. Assist with special projects as needed.
  9. Implement Anti Money Laundering Compliance.
  10. Identify and implement ways to automate/streamline accounting processes and analysis.
Offered
  • Indefinite contract.
  • Salary range between 30,000 and 45,500 negotiable, with a variable remuneration based on company objectives of 6%.
  • 26 working days of vacation plus 4 additional days of vacation at Easter or Christmas.
  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 5:36 p.m. Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Teleworking: 70% home and 30% in the office.
  • Children's schooling aid: €320.

Requirements
  1. University degree in Business or Economic Administration.
  2. Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written bilingual level).
  3. Good knowledge of financial accounting principles (IFRS and local GAAP (PGC and regulations of the Bank of Spain for Financial institutions)).
  4. Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to apply policies and standards consistently.
  6. Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment and multitask in a fast-paced and intellectually demanding environment.
  7. Mastery of Microsoft Office products. Advanced use of Excel is essential.
  8. At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
