Art Director

We are seeking an experienced Art Director to join our team at Scopely, a global interactive entertainment and mobile-first video game company. As an Art Director, you will be responsible for leading the creative vision and direction of our games, ensuring that all art assets are of exceptional quality and align with the game's vision.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with Senior Art Director to ensure creative material is consistently aligned with the game vision
- Support the brand through creative designs and unique experiences
- Lead creative brainstorms to identify creative solutions and direction
- Establish and drive an art culture that engages talent and maximizes team potential
- Partner with art producer to drive art team's production process
- Identify inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement within the creative process
- Lead inter-department communications as they relate to art
- Experience in managing a large group of artists
- Shipped and supported at least one title as an Art Lead or Associate AD
- Experience in developing social games on mobile platforms, with a preference to casual space
- Art style that demonstrates a good understanding of whimsical art style
- Highly skilled at providing clear direction, guidance, and mentoring tailored to the skill level of team members
- Proven to be flexible, highly motivated, and approachable
