You will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver cutting-edge, highly efficient solutions to power Microsoft\u0027s next-gen datacentres and computing needs.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and/or extend functional and timing models of complex SOCs and validate them against other models or hardware reference systems.
* Understand the operation of complex datacentre workloads.
* Build, document and maintain internal tools, scripts and analysis methods as needed to carry out robust and automated performance analysis.
* Utilize external and internal tools to characterize, profile and analyse key cloud workloads.
* Define the next generation computer architecture for the cloud at all levels of innovation to create a datacentre that is truly optimized (performance, power, and cost) for Azure\u0027s cloud critical workloads.

Qualifications:

* B.S. in Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience (M.S. or Ph.D).
