About the Role
The Cloud Infrastructure Architect will play a key role in our global cloud transformation programme, spanning countries in all five continents, led by the Schneider Cloud Centre of Excellence (SCCoE). This role will help keep our transformation standardized and evolved, contributing to the overall strategy, project execution, and operations in areas of expertise. The Cloud Infrastructure Architect will ensure that cloud applications and infrastructure are breach-resistant and breach-ready, promoting infrastructure standards, rules, and technologies throughout the entire cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain enterprise-class, cloud infrastructure architectures.
  2. Conduct cloud infrastructure architecture assessments and define solutions as part of a global reference architecture repository.
  3. Implement and oversee the build, delivery, and run of cloud infrastructure architectures.
  4. Provide technical guidance and expertise to ensure that technology standards are followed and evolve over time.
  5. Provide cloud-infrastructure architecture Quality Assurance reviews and ensure compliance with architecture standards globally.
  6. Support technology solutioning and estimating in proposals for change, planning, and pricing.
  7. Conduct cloud infrastructure architecture assessments and define future solutions and roadmaps.
  8. Liaise with Global Information Security as required.
  9. Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure standards in partnership with Operations and Application Development.
  10. Provide support during critical incidents related to the cloud.
  11. Lead investigations and take corrective/preventive actions.
