The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is seeking a highly skilled Junior Group Leader in Quantitative Cell Biology to join our team. As a key member of our research community, you will be responsible for leading a research group and contributing to the development of innovative solutions in cell biology.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in areas that complement our existing research programs, such as evolutionary cell biology or structural cell biology. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a diverse group of scientists.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a research group and develop innovative solutions in cell biology
- Contribute to the development of our research programs and collaborations
- Collaborate with a diverse group of scientists and researchers
- Work with cutting-edge technologies and facilities
- Develop and implement research projects and strategies
Requirements:
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g. cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry)
- Postdoctoral research experience in a relevant field
- Strong track record of research productivity and publication
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
What We Offer:
- Junior Group Leader position with a 5-year contract renewable for a total of 9 years, subject to successful external peer review
- Structural funding to cover salaries and consumables for up to three people depending on their qualifications
