Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Laboratory Technician to join our research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing cell biology and molecular biology experiments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute cell biology and molecular biology experiments, including gene reporter assays, RT-qPCR, and cell viability assays.
- Culture mammalian cell lines and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Keep accurate records of experiments and results, and report to the supervisor as required.
- Support key organizational tasks in the laboratory, such as managing stocks and experimental compounds.
Requirements and Selection Criteria
- Higher National Diploma (FP2) or bachelor's degree in biomedical science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a biomedical laboratory working on molecular biology and cell biology with mammalian cell lines.
- Experience in transcriptomics, such as RT-qPCR, mRNA-seq, and CHIP-seq, is highly valued.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately, with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
