As a key member of our Accor Hotels team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. As the Director of Banquets, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of events, ensuring that every detail is meticulously attended to and that our guests receive the highest level of service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement event strategies that align with the hotel's goals and objectives
  • Lead a team of event coordinators and ensure that they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events
  • Monitor and control event budgets to ensure profitability
  • Ensure that all events meet the hotel's quality and service standards


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in event management or a related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of event planning software and tools
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment


Physical Aspects of the Position:

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps


Qualifications:

  • University/College degree in a related discipline
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
