What You'll Do

As a Senior IT Architect, you will work closely with case team members to assess and coach our clients' IT teams, define IT strategies, and apply your technical know-how and understanding of business contexts. You will be responsible for owning the delivery for a specific project module and help develop technical concepts for that module. You will also coach other project members and help lead other consultants in their work streams.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Between 2-5 years of experience in data strategy, technical project management, or technology consulting
  • Proven track record in leading IT implementation projects
  • Technical skills in designing robust data architectures, including data platforms and pipelines, with a strong focus on ETL processes using cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud)
  • Extensive hands-on experience in implementing data solutions using a variety of platforms such as Apache Hadoop ecosystem (including Kafka, Storm, and Spark), Elastic Search, and other related technologies
  • Expertise in both relational (SQL) and non-relational databases (such as Cassandra, MongoDB, DynamoDB), with a solid understanding of Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) and non-MPP data storage systems
  • Data Systems Expertise: Strong background in data integration platforms, orchestrating complex data workflows and transformations using tools such as DataStage, Informatica, and Data Factory
  • General knowledge of data storage, query, processing, and exposition technologies and trade-offs
  • Experience in designing and implementing Data & Analytics (D&A) operation scaling process framework (DataOps and MLOps), in order to ensure the productivity, reliability, and security of a Data platform
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing forward-thinking Data Mesh architecture models that align with business goals and support scalability
  • Familiarity with regulations and compliance standards relevant to data security and privacy (such as GDPR, CCPA)
  • Proficient in implementing data governance and stewardship frameworks to enhance data quality and ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards
  • Skilled in deploying Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies to safeguard critical information
Interpersonal & Leadership Skills

You will need:

  • A strong analytical mindset for evaluating complex IT application landscapes and optimizing development processes
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and provide technical leadership
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data architecture to guide strategic decisions and innovations
Industry Experience

Strong experience in either the banking or energy sector, demonstrating a proven track record in major projects and innovations within one of these industries.
