Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager at UL Solutions, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day activities of the Due Diligence team, providing guidance on project management and opportunities within a highly matrixed organization. This role is responsible for building relationships with customers and supporting the commercial team by ensuring workload balance and providing technical support needed to satisfy customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. You will work closely with our customers and serve as the main client interface for UL Solutions, including meetings with lenders and developers.
  2. To ensure timely delivery of our projects, you will manage internal and external resources, including independent engineering and technical advisory services.
  3. You will oversee high-profile projects, which includes:
    1. Site visits and construction monitoring
    2. Technology review
    3. Civil and electrical design review
    4. Commercial and technical contracts review
    5. Project schedule
    6. Project financial model
    7. CAPEX and OPEX costs
    8. Environmental and permitting review
  4. You will compile and complete reports, as well as prepare various communication reports and project status reports.
Requirements
  1. Academic background in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
  2. At least 6+ years' experience working as a project manager/engineer in wind construction projects
  3. Clear understanding of the technical due diligence process and risk appraisal
  4. Language skills: Business fluent in English, French, and Arabic; additional languages are considered an advantage
  5. Experienced in project development processes and construction monitoring
  6. Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and level-headed when meeting tight deadlines
  7. You may be available to travel up to 20% of the time within the EMEA region
