Job Title: Thermal Simulation Expert

At Applus IDIADA, we are committed to innovation and excellence. We are seeking a skilled Thermal Simulation Expert to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and evaluation of Cooling and HVAC systems on EV/HEV vehicles
  • System architecture and component sizing by 1D Tools (AMESIM/GTSuite)
  • Thermal control logic definition and calibration (Heat Pump, HV Battery, emotor,..)
  • Virtual development by co-simulation platform 1D/CFD/Simulink
  • Energy management optimization
  • Support to Innovation projects
  • Project Management and customer communications

Qualifications:

  • University engineering degree (Electronics, Mechatronics, ....)
  • Knowledge on Thermal system architectures
  • Experience in 1D Thermal modeling or CFD will be valued
  • Know-how in control and logic development
  • Analytical and creative skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment
  • Target and customer oriented
  • Willingness to travel when required

Languages:

  • Good level of English
