Job Description

Applus IDIADA is seeking a highly skilled Acoustic and Vibration Expert to join our R&D team in the NVH department. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and executing activities related to noise and vibration control in vehicle refinement projects.

Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, execute, analyze and report NVH projects related to testing and evaluation.
- Collaborate with clients to prepare technical and commercial proposals for business opportunities.
- Coordinate and lead a team of technicians and mechanics, with support from other engineers.
- Coordinate activities with other performance leaders and departments.
- Support the development of internal tools for testing and analysis.

Requirements
- Expertise in Automotive field and knowledge of advanced techniques such as ODS, Modal Analysis and TPA.
- Experience with specific testing and analysis tools like LMS, B&K, HEAD ACOUSTICS or BBM Müller.
- Familiarity with simulation tools for project development.

Current Research Areas
- In-service dynamic response of vehicles.
- Interior and exterior noise control.
- Sound quality in vehicles.
- Squeak and rattle.
- Traffic noise and road surface acoustic properties.
- Aeroacoustic noise.
- Advanced NVH technologies (Modal analysis, Transfer Path Analysis...)

Qualifications
- Engineering degree in acoustics and vibration studies or related areas with a focus on NVH.
