We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Application Scientist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and expertise to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert technical support to customers via various channels, including phone, email, and web form.
- Collaborate with internal experts to resolve complex technical issues and challenges.
- Document customer interactions and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop and maintain knowledge databases, websites, and other technical resources.
- Deliver technical updates to colleagues and participate in department meetings.
- Participate in training and continuing education on new products and technologies.
- Contribute to special projects and take on additional tasks as opportunities arise.
- Master's degree in a life science or similar field, or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of laboratory experience and strong scientific background.
- Prior experience in customer service or a customer-facing role is a plus.
- Fluency in English and French for both written and verbal communication is required.
- Customer-focused approach and ability to learn complex technical information quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and natural curiosity.
- Proficiency in digital tools, including spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and internet applications.
