About the Role

At Siemens Energy, we are seeking a highly skilled Gas Turbine Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Spain, Barcelona. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects and collaborate with international teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, supervise, and execute Fact Finding and Commissioning tasks during installation and maintenance activities of Gas Turbines/Steam Turbines jobs.
  • Perform specialized engineer-level work in the field, including inspection of turbine-related components and auxiliaries, and provide recommendations to customers based on specifications and requirements.
  • Contribute to planning and implementing commissioning activities, supporting and coordinating installation activities with the Installation Supervisor/Site Manager, and implementing commissioning design changes.
  • Perform commissioning of turbines during COLD and HOT commissioning phases, starting from single component to the full system (Turbine and auxiliaries) according to specifications and engineering documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, and Process), or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the relevant field of work.
  • General profound understanding of technical equipment and ability to work with/based on technical documentation.
  • Good general skills in mechanical maintenance activities of power generation equipment or in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Fluent in English Language (Written & Oral), other languages are beneficial.
