Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Gas Turbine Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Spain, Barcelona. As a key member of our Gas Services Business Unit, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing commissioning tasks for gas and steam turbines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate commissioning activities for gas and steam turbines
  • Perform specialized engineer-level work in the field, including inspection and testing of turbine components and auxiliaries
  • Provide recommendations to customers based on specifications and requirements
  • Contribute to planning and implementing commissioning activities, supporting installation activities with the Installation Supervisor/Site Manager
  • Perform commissioning of turbines during COLD and HOT commissioning phases, starting from single component to the full system
  • Effectively identify technical or schedule problems and take appropriate actions to resolve
  • Provide expert advice and technical assistance to support staff and subordinate technicians of customers
Requirements
  • Bachelor/Master of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, and Process), OR a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the relevant field of work
  • General profound understanding of technical equipment and ability to work with/based on technical documentation
